Wow Rick, after 4 days of "hard to put down" reading & entertainment I was consumed!! There was adventure awaiting on every turn of the page, not to mention shared excitement, suspense, & scary unknown thru out!!
The writing itself with such vivid expression put the reader right into the setting you were experiencing. The script was intertwined with a spiritual journey of God, His wonders and creation relating mutual awe & admiration!! Relating to your amazing dog, Kee, and how your dog is more than "just a dog" made me miss my special one, Desire, all the more. Our creature companions always close to heart and mind.
As a lifelong musician/singer in Chapter 17 I so related to the emotional Amazing Grace store as one that always brings me to tears, especially singing it with true meaning/connection. The Scottish "ditty" gave me true barrel laughs-close to my Irish upbringing and songs and laughter. Your Hope Rising uplifted my heart and soul helping to make my outlook more positive in return.
